Book a Librarian
The Book-a-Librarian (BAL) service provides assistance to students in the use of library resources with one-on-one research instruction from a professional academic librarian. While some students receive library instruction through library orientations scheduled by their instructors, many are not afforded this opportunity in a classroom setting.
Students are able to contact the library and arrange for a “Book a Librarian” session during normal operating hours with a professional librarian for up to 45 minutes of individual instruction. Impromptu Book a Librarian sessions can be conducted for up to 15 minutes upon request based on the availability of librarians.
